My family just moved to Houston from Nashville and we went to Bel Furniture and loved their selection and really loved Marcus (our salesman) and we spent well over $3000 on new furniture. We got the furniture the first week we were in Houston which is a plus because we were off work to get all moved in.

When the kitchen table arrived it was damaged while it was being set up. They screwed the legs through the top of the table. Accidents happen. We totally understood.

We were told we would get a replacement and that it would be set up for a Tuesday. We told them that Tuesday would not be possible because we werent able to take off at our new jobs yet unless we were guaranteed a first thing tuesday morning delivery. The lady over the phone said she would call us back and let us know. Never got a call until the day before confirming Tuesday is okay.

We told her only if its the morning. She said she cant guarantee anything. We asked to speak to a manager since we werent at fault for the damage. Mariah with Bel Furniture told me i could not speak to a manager multiple times and would not take my name and number for a call back.

So my husband and i drove up there. Tiffany the store manager told us she would get her guys to have it delivered to their store on Friday and it would be at our house first thing saturday. We were extremely happy with that and we went on our way. Friday we get a call confirming our appt between 0800-**** on saturday.

We thought we were good to go. Saturday morning comes and the driver calls us and tells us he will be at our house between 4pm and 7pm. VERY UPSET I call Tiffany he store manager and she instantly answered the phone with an attitude and told me she never said and that and raised her voice multiple times. I asked if we could just get our money back and was told its a 25% of sale fee if they take it back.

I hang up with her and try to call the corporate office and got no answer. I finally gave up and waited for our new table to get here so we could be done with it. just arrived with more damages, when telling the driver Jose about the damages he got rude with us and told us to just call the store and see if they would do something about it.

I cant get away from them fast enough. We just want our product we paid for without damages and without attitudes.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
